Activated carbon

The team work of Professor Rafael García and Néstor Escalona (Chemical Sciences Faculty) together with Professor Ljuvisa Radovic (Engineering Faculty) are researching the foundations to develop commercially interesting products from activated carbon.  This project is financed through a seed capital grant from CCTE-UDT. Purification of liquors in extraction processes using iodine and molybdenum is been evaluated.
