Technology transfer

Technology transfer is conceived as a set of activities that complement project of R & D throughout its execution. These aspects become more important when the project has clear results which are measurable and relevant to the productive sector. At this stage, the final form of technology transfer should be established, either through the transfer of a technology package to a participant company in the project, or to an external company with more suitable characteristic or to a new spin off created for this purpose. Activities such as packaging of technology, development of results, protection of intellectual property and the negotiation of one or more licenses are the most significant aspects of the area in which technology transfer plays a prominent role.
