Until 2007, the focus of this research line was given by the guidelines for a cleaner production and it included also the design of industrial liquid waste treatment plants to fishery, forest and food industries. Since 2008, due to Prof. Claudio Zaror joined CCTE-UDT as Principal Researcher, the scientific and technological bases to support the forest industry in the close-circuit of water began to be established.
