Technology Transfer

Every R&D project must consider, from its conception, a technology transfer model which will determine the development of its activities. To promote the growth of the new market that demands technology development for the companies, the Technological and Management Area trains, creates and develops networks, provides services in order to raise absorption capacity and technologic level of companies. At the same, this area influences the entire organization, seeking to set conditions that foster technological innovations likely to be implemented in the private sector.

The new challenge of this area is to widen the reach of its markets; therefore, it is doing an international search, collecting forest biomass information from all continents and related markets.  The objective of these activities is to transfer the research and development results, that have been well accepted in Chile, but that are likely to be implemented in a small market and, consequently, need new bigger markets.

The work of this area is focused on following phases of project execution:
